“I’ve heard people say that the hardest thing in the world is to live with someone you don’t love. But I’ve always thought it would be far more difficult to live with someone who doesn’t love you.”
I swear, I loved this book more than the last. No regrets!! This book has new characters and brand new scenery. I loved everything about it!
It was deliciously mysterious and creepy. These are the only books that have succeeded in scaring me into goosebumps and shivers. It got my heart thumping constantly, i’s the perfect October read, hands down! This book was another learning experience, you learn so much about being a cemetery restorer from the main character, Amelia, that you can’t help but feel like you’re one as well. I love it!
Amelia’s thoughts seemed a little repetitive to me at one point but it didn’t throw me off from the over all experience. I did see many things coming a mile away but it was still surreal to watch it all unfold. Crazy doesn’t even begin to describe it.
I loved how this book delves deeper into Amelia”s past, answering questions from the first one while at the same time, uncovering newer questions. This book had me double-guessing every single character’s motives, just as any good thriller should do. This, like the first book, was super heart-breaking. Which is expected, when it’s a ghost story. This was an intense roller coaster ride and I can’t wait to see what else is in store for these characters! I can’t , and will not, choose between Thane and Devlin. Jeezus. Those two are going to be the death of me- I mean Amelia. The death of Amelia. Anyway, I missed Dev A LOT so I can’t wait to see more of him!
