I went to a Little Free Library on 11/24/15 and hauled 6 books!
If you don’t know what a Little Free Library is, then you can click on the link above to go to their website.
How they’re used: These are more like exchange libraries instead of ‘free’ libraries. The main rule is to ‘Take a book and leave a book.’ If you own a book you didn’t enjoy and would like to take it off your shelf, then what better way than to head to your closest Little Free Library and see if you can exchange it for a book that catches your eye. I do this all the time and there are ALWAYS new books to look at, even if you go the next day.
I call them”bird houses” for book lovers. People build these and put them on their front yard so anybody can drive by and look inside.
Example:
One day I plan on building my very own LFL. Oncce I have my own property of course(:
Now for my haul:
Visions in Death by J.D. Robb (Nora Roberts)
All the Queen’s Men by Linda Howard
Drowning Ruth by Christina Schwarz
Pieces of Paris by G.G. Vandagriff
The Ravenscar Dynasty by Barbara Taylor Bradford
and The Tigerlily’s Orchids by Ruth Rendell
