ICYMI Bookstagram Interview with Taylor Knight! (@Taylorreads)

Name: Taylor Knight
Age: 20
Birthday: January 8th

-Is there an idea that has been stuck in your head that you haven’t done yet?

There’s quite a few ideas that I’ve been bouncing around lately. I seen someone on Tumblr use a lake as a setting in a photo and I definitely would love to try that.

-What part of the Instagram process comes easy to you? Which part is difficult?

I think the photography comes easiest to me. I’ve been taking photos for about 6 years so I know my camera and photography style really well.
And I think the most difficult part is consistently thinking of new content. I tend to find ideas that I really like and overuse those ideas.

-What is your least favorite part of running your account?

Sometimes it can feel like a job, especially if I’m out of photos to post and I have to force myself to take pictures. If I start to feel like that, I’ll usually skip posting for a day or two and it feels a lot more fun when I go back to posting.

-How do you get over creativity block?

I’ll look at other accounts for inspiration and ideas. Or I’ll just take a few days to read  books that always inspire me to take pictures, like Vengeance Road by Erin Bowman or An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir.

-What is your favorite standalone?

It Ends with Us by Colleen Hoover. It’s the best book I’ve ever read in my life, besides Harry Potter.

-What is your favorite food?

Pizza, nachos, and ice cream. Not exactly healthy but I could eat those every day.

-What music do you like to listen to?
Mostly country and classic rock. But I love music in general so I listen to a bit of everything.

-What are some of your favorite shows?
Game of Thrones, Supernatural, Hannibal, and The Flash are definitely some of my favorites. Even though I’m behind on all of them.
